Slate is one of the most durable stone on the planet so your etching will require little attention. We recommend that your slate be wiped over with a damp soft cloth whenever it looks dirty. This may well darken your image, but don't worry as the slate dries the image will be back to its former self.
We do not recommend cleaning with detergents or harsh abrasive products.
